A little information about our Shampoo Bars
Our shampoo bars are different from many of those sold elsewhere, in that they are not actual lye soap, but mild natural surfactants mixed with nourishing oils, butters, and botanical extracts. We make them this way to control the PH balance your hair needs to stay happy and healthy. Bar soap is made to have higher ph (up to 10 and higher most of the time), but hair wants closer to 5. Using high ph soap on your hair, you can cause dryness, oil removal, breakage and build up. Bar soap is also made to take dirt and oil off skin and does not include moisturizer that can penetrate and seal hair cuticles.
At one point in our quest for healthy, non itchy scalps, we tried using our lovely regular soap bars as shampoo for a few months and nearly wrecked our hair! It became thin, breaking at the scalp, scraggly, and dry with split ends, and took almost a year of growth with drastic trims, before we got back to thick, soft healthy hair! We started making our own, and now everyone has their own bar to suit their hair needs. To use a shampoo bar, (1) rub the bar across your hair 4-5 x from forehead to bottom of scalp and massage in with hands or (2) rub bar in your hands to create a lather, apply lather to hair and massage on scalp with hands.
Rosemary Mint Shampoo bar
This is a conditioning and hydrating shampoo bar that includes argan oil, lemonshine, Daikon seed extract and chlorophyl. Argan oil is a moisturizer full of fatty acids. Daikon seed extract is an emollient, has antioxident properties, and is an excellent silicone alternative, adding good slip and absorption to the bar. Lemonshine, an excellent light conditioner that doesn't weigh down hair, is excellent for for those who may have fine hair that doesn't need extra conditioner. Chlorophyll has been used for it's anti-microbial, antioxidant, and antibacterial properties for many years, so we included it in these minty bars to help sooth sensitive scalps. Additional humectants help to increase the mildness of a shampoo, while attracting water from atmosphere to hydrate it. This bar may not work as well for frizzy hair due to the humectants. NOTE: frizzy hair is not damaged, but hair strands that stick out or curl up sporadically in different directions causing uneven and messy textures that don’t align with the main body of the hair.
$10 each or 2/$19 (you can pair one with a conditioner bar instead if you like).

Shampoo bars
These shampoo bars, while being fantastic for all hair types, is especially good for curly hair due to the addition of Lycopene Bioferment. Lycopene Bioferment strengthens the kinks of the curls which are the weakest portion of the hair. It's solubility means it penetrates deeply into the hair fiber and maintains the hair's integral structure. Daikon seed extract being a natural emollient, acts as a barrier and strengthens and adds shine to hair. Argan oil is included as a moisturizer because it is full of fatty acids. It's been shown to lubricate the hair shaft and help your hair maintain moisture which also helps those curls from going frizzy. They come in Sweet Nothing (unscented), Rapsberry Vanilla, Oakmoss, and Apple Pear. $10 each or 2/$19 (you can pair one with a conditioner bar instead if you like).
Conditioner Bar
Our conditioner bars are the perfect way to round off your hair routine. The recipe for each conditioner is the same, we just have scent variations of Rosemary Mint and Apple Pear. The oils and butters in these are fantastic for your hair, and you could never over use a conditioner bar. I have never gotten greasy hair from a conditioner bar, just hair so soft that it won't stay in a clip or braid. To use a conditioner bar, gently rub on areas of hair that need conditioning and rinse out. These also work great as leave in conditioner, just rub the bar in your hands and then run your fingers through your hair. The scents we carry are: Sweet Nothing (unscented), Rosemary Mint, Apple Pear, Oakmoss, and Raspberry Vanilla. $10 each or 2/$19 (you can pair one with a shampoo instead if you like).
Honey Oatmeal foaming bath salts
Our honey oatmeal foaming bath salts are similar to bath bombs, but with fantastic add ins of raw honey, colloidal oatmeal, Himalayan pink salt (the darker areas of color in the salts pictured) and Epsom salts. Oatmeal and honey are famous for their skin soothing and healing properties, and both will make your skin feel fantastic. The epsom salts adds magnesium ( a vital component of healthy skin and your health in general) detoxifying and anti-inflammatory properties. Himalayan pink salt has a very high concentration of natural trace minerals and calcium that your body/skin needs to stay healthy, and it also has detoxifying and anti-inflammatory properties, which make it useful for the treatment of eczema and similar skin irritations. You didn't think relaxing in a hot tub at the end of a hard day could be so healthy, did you? Adding our foaming bath salts to your next bath will make it healthy, luxurious AND relaxing;).
We have 4 scent options - they all smell wonderful and make our whole house smell good after someone has a bath! Lavender (essential oil), Euca-mint (essential oil), Refreshing Citrus (essential oil), and Raspberry Vanilla. We color our bath salts with natural micas and the Euca-mint is actually colored with chlorophyll, something that your skin will love because of all it's fabulous properties. We carry them in 3oz ($3.50 each, 2/$6.50, or 4/$12) and 8oz bags ($6.50 each, 2/$12 or 4/$22.50.).
