We love to keep our hands busy, and we had Ben/Papa make us a rag rug loom 6 years ago so we could start making them. We use re-purposed jeans and sheets/material to make sturdy, machine washable rugs that are beautiful to boot! We have 5-10 of them in our house that are between 2-6 years old, and we've machine washed them at least once a month, so we know first hand how sturdy they are. We've also given them as gifts and have gotten nothing but good reports. Each one is a solid piece, all woven together, not a long braid sewn together. The only reason you'd ever get rid of one is because you're sick of it, not because it wore out. We have done many custom rugs, to match a color scheme or favourite colors.  As to the colors, we are limited to what we have on hand, so just ask us what we have if you're interested. The rugs are 40"x22" ($65),  and we have the ability to make slightly shorter or larger rugs, but the larger ones might not machine wash as nicely due to the size.
